The 「RG 1/1 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. GFT」 comes equipped with new decals and more detailed parts. The ankles, knees, and elbows are equipped with rounded parts to resemble the anime's 「magnetic coating」※.
At night, a 32 m by 11.5 m (105 by 37 feet) backdrop is projected on the 「Diver City Tokyo Plaza」 wall behind the Gundam! The Gundam statue stands before a dramatic backdrop, in a brand-new lighting installation. See the Gundam statue with video, as you've never seen it before!

※Magnetic coating was applied to allow the Gundam to keep up with Amuro Ray's growing skill as a pilot.

The 「Tokyo Gundam Project 2012」's 「RG 1/1 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. GFT」 display also promotes Tokyo's green efforts and the 29th Greenery Fair, to be held in Tokyo from September 29th to October 28th.
